There’s something undeniably magical about wandering through a city that’s dressed in flowers. Yesterday was one of those perfect days—the kind that feels like it was plucked straight from a fairytale. I spent the day exploring Chelsea and Belgravia for Chelsea and Belgravia in Bloom 2024, and it honestly felt like stepping into another world. This has become something of a yearly ritual for me, and every time, I’m reminded why I adore it so much. There’s just something about being surrounded by blooms in every shade imaginable, in one of the most beautiful corners of London, that feels so romantic and dreamlike.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect—gentle sunshine, a soft breeze, and the scent of flowers floating in the air. The streets were alive with colour and creativity, each installation more breathtaking than the last. I wandered slowly, letting the day unfold at its own pace, weaving through charming cobbled streets and elegant townhouses draped in floral displays. It was as if every window, every doorway, every little nook had been touched by a bit of magic.
Of course, I had my camera with me and couldn’t resist photographing as many installations as I could. Each one felt like a piece of living art, and I wanted to capture the beauty in all its fleeting glory—the way the light caught the petals, the contrast of vibrant colours against old stone buildings, the delicate details that someone had clearly poured their heart into. I love looking back at those photos, knowing they hold memories of this enchanting day.
By the end of it all, I had taken over 13,000 steps, though it never felt tiring—more like a graceful meander than a walk. Time seemed to slow, and I found myself completely immersed in the beauty surrounding me. There’s something about this yearly tradition that fills me with joy and inspiration, a gentle reminder to pause, to breathe, and to appreciate the romance woven into the everyday.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the floral-lined streets, I felt so grateful—for the beauty, for the quiet moments, and for the magic of a city that blooms not just with flowers, but with wonder.
Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of stepping behind the camera lens at the stunning Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey, but not in the way you might expect. Instead of capturing a couple’s special day, I was there to document the incredible artistry of Bluesky Flowers as they transformed this already breathtaking venue into something […]

There’s something truly magical about stepping into a venue that balances historical grandeur with contemporary elegance perfectly. During my recent visit to Casterton Grange in May, I was reminded once again why this exceptional venue holds such a special place in my heart (and no, it isn’t because they have baby doll sheep and horses, […]
